Well those are good strategies. I have been selling a lot and having a high percentage fall apart in inspections and financing. I think the media is making a lot of people really nervous. So I have to keep more balls in the air in order to compensate for that. Listings are crucial to that approach.

The media has people very worried and making stupid decisions. This is the best time to buy a home in years and buyers are sitting around waiting. When the market picks back up and home prices start increasing the buyers will be back and wondering why they didn't buy that home before when they could have saved 5-7%.

I think you are right on target Ken. Buyers have an awesome opportunity now.

We have picked up a lot in the last month. I don't really know why. The tough market has made us do a better job with the prospects and with putting more intensity into our marketing efforts. So in some ways the slow down has been good for us.

Not to mention that interest rates will probably be going up. A major home builder just reduced their homes in two of the most popular communities in Henderson by 100k. Its absolutely the best time to buy.

I have instant email notification of subscribed threads marked in my options but I am not getting emails when a post is made on one of the threads. Does anyone know how I can fix that?

Hi Wayne,

Are you sure that your are subscribed to a thread? Go to your user cp and look under subscriptions. Click list subscriptions. Are there any there? If there are in fact subscribed threads then double check your email to be sure mail from the forum isn't getting blocked as spam.

Good luck,

Jim
