Hi folks,
I have just joined Famous Agents and look forward to keeping in touch. I've been in Real Estate for all of 1 1/2 months! I've managed to list over 40 new homes in that time. I am now turning my attention to the sale of those listings. I'm quite lucky in that over 38% of all new home construction in this city is happenning in my area. (68% measured across the last three months!) I have read SteveG's post from Sydney - and have to say that training really does depend on the agency (brokerage to those State-side) that one is with. I have done a 'Flying Start' course and and auctions listing and presentations course with my company. One thing I found was a good move was walking into EVERY local business, introducing myself and asking what I could do to send new customers their way. I have managed a very high recognition rate in a startlingly short time. I hope the return referrals will come in time. I've started my own weblog with as many cross linkages as I can make at this time. I want to get the content level 'up' on the site before opening it to general view.
