Hi Everyone: My name is Bonnie and I'm living in Spring Hill Fl. I am originally from Texas but after marrying 12 yrs ago have moved a few times and now residing in FL. I have been in the business a little over a year and doing pretty good. These days every closing is a battle. I'm hoping to meet new people and learn how to be a better agent.

Thanks Glenn. I was in the Naples area last yr actually Marco Island for a state confention for C21. I loved it down there. How is your business? Here it has been slow but we see it picking up. We will have 4 closings this month if they all close - big if!!!! We also have a problem with people wanting to overprice. The mkt has dropped as I'm sure it has there. If they will fix the tax and insurance situation, I am hoping things will be good again.

Welcome to the forum. Just write down everything Jim says and you'll do great! (a little sucking up to the forum owner never hurts either!) We've fostered a few mastiffs, mostly English and Neopolitans. They are wonderful dogs, but I just couldn't take the drool! The biggest one we had weighed in around 185.

The market is very slow here. I have spoken with some agents that have been in business for years and they have not had a closing in 6 months. Thank goodness that it is not my fate.

We have lost a lot of agents because people aren't making any money and could not afford to pay their dues. I am very fortunate that we have had closings this year and this month IF everything closes, we will have 4. We are working on August now. Our broker is very aggressive and we do a lot of advertising. My partner and I are getting ready to get a couple of billboards and hope that will also generate some interest. I believe things are picking up. There are fewer of us to make more money, I guess.

Things for us are finally picking up. Thankfully, Jacqui had a lot of stuff in escrow that was being built. Several of those projects are now being completed this year.

We have lost about one-third of our board - about 2,500 agents.
