Default Site PR?

This one is a pet peeve. Argggghhhh.

Every day while making the forum rounds I see "My Site has a PR x". Every day and every post this is overlooked.

If you are one of these offenders, please cease & desist immediately!

There is no such thing as "Site PR". If your homepage has a Google toolbar PR5 then say "My homepage has a PR5". The PR displayed pertains to the page not the site.

Ok, that is my gripe for the day. lol

P.S. For a much healthier internet experience, just delete the toolbar. (just kidding, I think)

Or how about the interchanging of PR and SERPS. Who cares about PR if you can get a good SERP for your target keywords.

Jim - I think that most people are referring to their homepage even though they refer to it as "site rank." Have to admit I must do it sometimes also - actually I think in one of our conversation about my new FA site that I referred to my old site as a PR2. Guilty! LOL

Jason - you are right about positioning - if it a PR2 page and it ranks on page 1 - who cares it positions well.
