Forum Disclaimer

Just a suggestion, but I would consider adding a legal disclaimer to protect not only the members but also the forum owners at the bottom of the forum.

Also include language within the TOS that by registering you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the forum owners, members, admins and mods by logging in. Just a suggestion if you havent thought of it.

We will keep that in mind. Thanks for the suggestion.

From the court cases we have seen so far it was our understanding that forum owners are almost never held liable for what their members say. Obviously, that doesn't apply to notifying the authorities about the planning of a crime. I have seen them held liable for that. I will run it by our attorneys for sure. I'll let you know what they say.

Also, this is a moderated forum so we aren't going to let anything too outrageous remain posted anyway.
