well actually these days, I would have to throw in a different thing there. Thanks to Jim's advice on content ideas, the Turkish community in Chicago have been my first source of referrals. Thank god for community volunteer projects and getting yourself known.

Community service has always been a good source of referral business in the real estate industry for years.
When doing community service you are actually meeting people and they get to know you as a person and aren't we all most comfortable with doing business or referring business to those we know? Goes back to an old marketing adage - 3-7-21.
