Here are some ideas to get you started:

Do a press release announcing that you joined a real estate brokerage firm.

Start a list of everyone you know - sphere of influence. (Your holiday card list is a great place to start.)

Write to the sphere and let them know you have made a career change. Be sure to include 2 business cards with the letter. Be sure to ask them if they know anyone that might be thinking about a real estate sale or purchase.

Pass out your business cards to everyone you meet.

If you are creative - do a brochure on yourself and see if you can put the brochure in the local chamber of commerce.
