Win a FREE hour of Link Building Consultation…
Alright, I caught your attention. So, here’s the contest:
Our (almost) three year old little girl came up with some new words this week. Since she is our second child, Jim and I are now completely fluent in toddlerspeak. Well… at least most of the time we understand what she is saying.
Her new word combo for this week is “fu nookies.”
And the first person to comment and correctly guess what that translates to in plain English will win one hour of FREE Link Building/Link Bait consultation.
I am volunteering my husband’s creative mind to provide you with an hour of his time to learn some invaluable link bait techniques. Should be fun – I’ve personally witnessed Jim come up 10-20 outrageous link bait strategies within a 1 hour phone call.
Good luck!

ok it has been awhile since my kids where toddlers- they are 14 and 16- but I will give it a try-
April 20th, 2007 at 9:29 amfudge cookies- not very creative on my part, this will be in my head all day so I may figure it out yet
Jamie
Jaime, great try. Sorry that’s not it though. Keep on guessing.
April 20th, 2007 at 10:47 amHere is a hint.
This is the setting in which “fu nookies” was born:
Earlier this week our 8 year old boy, Dalton, said “Hey Dad, can I have some ___ ________?” In lightning fast response, Melissa – while running into the kitchen – screamed “Daddy, I want some fu nookies too!”
April 20th, 2007 at 10:59 amHow about fig newtons??
April 20th, 2007 at 9:24 pmJamie
fortune cookies? hey I am grandfather. LOL
April 21st, 2007 at 1:49 amGlenn, great guess. That would certainly be a very logical translation. But this is a toddler and logic isn’t anywhere in sight.
April 21st, 2007 at 6:10 amAnd the winner is… Jamie Geiger. Wow! I can’t believe it.
We thought we might have to see some more guesses and give out a few more hints before someone got it right.
So, now that you’ve won… please explain to us how in the world our daughter thought to say fu nookies for fig newtons???
April 21st, 2007 at 6:12 amJamie,
Congratulations! How in the world did you come up with that?
I look forward to our link building consultation. I think you will enjoy the brainstorming session.
April 21st, 2007 at 6:21 amWow, I am so excited, and a little concerned with my intelligence, I can understand toddler speak, but when I sit down to blog, I get writers block
. I figured it was some type of cookie and just guessed fig newtons. Sorry, can’t explain the mind of a little person, I am trying to figure out teenagers!! I look forward to meeting with you Jim- just let me know what time and day works for you
April 21st, 2007 at 7:56 pmThanks
Jamie
Congratulations Jamie!
April 23rd, 2007 at 4:37 amHer new word combo for this week is “fu nookies.”
May I have a “few cookies”?
May 5th, 2007 at 1:14 pmnevermind, i just read more. i have an almost 3 year old too.
May 5th, 2007 at 1:15 pmLOL. I would have guessed “four cookies”….which is why I don’t have kids. They’d never get anything til they were older!
June 11th, 2007 at 5:02 pmSo what did it stand for? I guess Im a little late commenting…
July 30th, 2007 at 4:17 amGuide Study it was in the comments, but the answer was “fig newtons”.
July 30th, 2007 at 9:55 amI’m rather late to this game but if there happens to be another ‘quiz’ like this I wouldn’t mind giving it a try.
*Note* This comment doesn’t need to be posted. I was just thinking it might be a way to see if anyone else is interested in another challenge like this. After all the contest itself is ‘bait-worthy’.
