Jim - Hope you don’t mind me chiming this point in. It is not that hard to put together an article on something that you are passionate about. I will openly say that I was somewhat nervous when I submitted my first article. Give it a try - you might surprise yourself with your talents and ability.

Jim - Thank you for the opportunity to contribute.

As Glenn said, for those of us that are passionate about our industry, this is a great forum to share thoughts and perhaps have some of our opinions validated. I learn best from my peers, so I believe regular correspondence with other professionals will help keep me at the top of my game.

I just hope my lack of typing skills does not become to evident.

Ken, I know I would appreciate an article from you on condo conversions. In some cases, the condo conversion is an excellent opportunity for a beginner real estate investor to get a foot in the door with reduced risk.

With experience running a conversion and with helping many investors buy investment condos there is a lot to write about. Will start working on the first article.

Jim do we want to tailor these towards the general public, agents, or both?

    Ken,

I recommend—in most cases—that the articles be written to your fellow REALTORS® & real estate agents. Of course, keep in mind that others will end up reading them.
