Google SERPs Update
Jim Messenger — 01/12/07
Keep an eye on your keywords folks.
I did some poking around this morning and noticed some pretty significant movement for several different keyword combinations.
One of the first things I noticed was a site missing that had held the number one spot for Phoenix Real Estate for years.
The second thing I noticed was the inclusion of Searches related to: Your Keywords Here
added to the bottom of the first page.
Fill out the comment form below and let us know how are you faring in this shake-up.

No major changes for us, only a few minor improvements.
BTW, I am not seeing the results for Phoenix that you are seeing, do you know what DC you are pulling from?
January 12th, 2007 at 1:36 pmGoogle in in the process of updating Page Rank. Started on the 11th or so. I’m still waiting with bated breath to get my results.
January 17th, 2007 at 1:31 pmNothing to wait for you are still a PR0 per the foolbar. Not that means anything, the data is a couple months old anyways by the time Google releases it. This data looks to be from around early November.
Use Matt Cutts’ blog as an example, his post on 11/6 has PR, but the post on 11/7 doesn’t. This date range carries over to other blogs that I have looked at also.
Looks like you created your blog after this date range so you will not see PR in the toolbar until the next update. Even when you do see it realize that it is 2-3 month old data so it means little.
